Half Term

 We made it!

Half term is finally upon us and, even as a university student, that means a week off. This is the first time for 3 or 4 years that I have been desperate for this time to come around and I was even counting down those last few days and hours.

I absolutely loved my time on placement but I have never felt so physically drained in my life. In the last two weeks especially, my immune system has given up on me and I've been coughing and sneezing all over the place. NICE.

Aside from resting and recovering, I need to spend this week getting back into the swing of blogging again. I've been stuck in such a rut lately with no ideas, probably due to the fact my brain has been so occupied with lesson plans and observations and various paperwork that I (still) have to get done. I've spent some of my many hours on a bus drafting a post that I haven't gone off yet but needs some serious tweaking and so that should go up some time this week!

I'm hoping that getting back into a routine at uni that involves more sleep and less early mornings will get my creativity flowing as I do thoroughly enjoy making these.

Once again I find myself word vomiting all over this poor little page but it's 11.30 on Sunday night and what else have I to do. After weeks of barely having time to eat, it feels weird that tomorrow I will have the house to myself, nothing to do and nowhere to go.

I read somewhere that most people give up on blogs within the first 3 months and I will NOT let that happen here. Even if that means an occasional naff one like this.

I've been following a twitter account recently called worddiction who essentially just post long sciencey sounding words and their definitions. I saw this one today and it 100% describes me for the next week.
I will see you all (all 2 of you) when I've got my act together and hopefully have some decent content for you! YES SETTING OVERLY HIGH STANDARDS.
